This wooden stand is made to partner our apex garden cold frame (GFL590) - generously sized, the cold frame is great for providing a place for plants to be hardened off in spring prior to planting out, and to help protect them from frost in the morning & evening in the autumn.
Made from natural fir wood, the stand requires simple home assembly and raises the bottom of the cold frame to roughly 50cm from the floor - a much more joint friendly height allowing easier access to your seedlings. A lower shelf is the perfect place to store tools, pots and any other sundries. Whilst specificaly designed for use with our apex cold frame, the stand will of course seat other cold frames of similar size (roughly 90cm x 55cm). Please note, the cold frame is not included.
