Growing vegetables and salads in raised beds has numerous benefits: the raised beds can be filled with the soil of your choice - ideal if you live in acidic soil areas, and the soil will warm up faster than the soil in the ground, helping to promote germination.
Our raised bed is made from natural Fir wood so is strong as well as reasonably light in weight. Measuring a generous 122cm by 18cm deep, it is easily screwed together (fixings are included) and solid once constructed. The wood has been treated with a clear preservative.
