Tomato Growbag Pots - Pack of 3 - with Planting Guard & Growbag Mat

Growbag pots have proved themselves to get results. Gardeners everywhere are using them with their growbags to grow strong, healthy plants and bumper crops of tomatoes - and not just tomatoes, for many other varieties of plants - aubergines and chillies for example - reap rich rewards when grown in a growbag pot.

An ingenious yet simple design, the growbag pot has a serrated base that cuts neatly into the bag of compost, with three pots fitting the standard bag comfortably. The pots have an outer trough that holds four pints of water or feed which then gradually seeps into the compost taking a constant supply directly to the plant root where it is needed most. The plant is sited in the inner pot, which is then filled up with extra compost to encourage more vigorous and healthy root growth and subsequent higher yields.

The result is no wastage of water or feed, no messy spilling compost, no sagging growbag, just easy, precise watering, and liquid feeding of the plants.

The growbag pots measure 28cm in diameter and are made from strong plastic which helps prevent slugs from reaching the plants. They can be used again and again, season after season; simply wash them and store them until they are needed again. They come with easy-to-follow instructions.

The planting guard prevents soil and debris from clogging up the drainage holes in the watering trough during planting. When the planting up has been completed, the planting guard can simply be lifted off.

The perfect companion to any growbag, each mat measures 22 by 17 centimetres (1.2 centimetres high) and interlocks with its neighbour. This adaptability allows you to create the shape and style your growbag requires.

8 growbag grids are included in the kit - they fit together to form the ideal size for the average growbag (roughly 88cm x 34cm) and plastic mats have 4cm x 3cm "honeycombs" that let water through and 2cm channels in the base to let it drain away from the bag, keeping stagnation at bay. They are suited to any garden, greenhouse, grow house, patio or other growing space, are washable, and fit for use time and again.
