The dome and the perch are both made from metal, sandwiching a plastic tube that holds the bird treats. The feeder screws into a 1m tall mounting pole (including spike) that simply pushes into the ground for installation.
The pole comes in 3 pieces that fit together by means of a simple push button, and there’s even a hanging loop at the apex of the dome should you decide to hang rather than mount the feeder table. The dome screws on and off for simple filling and cleaning.
