Large Metal Oval Raised Vegetable Bed in Dark Grey (170cm)

This stunning metal raised bed is stylish and pleasing to look at as well as being hard wearing and practical. The sides measure 25cm high so there's ample depth for creating a fantastic growing bed that is sufficient for most rooted vegetable crops (246 litre capacity). The raised bed frame comes in 10 sections that are simply bolted together, and 4 metal rods attach to create a stable planter.

Being dark in colour, it has the advantage of absorbing heat which will help germination in the early spring, and then in the summer it's dark sides will add a pleasant contrast to the colourful plants and flowers growing in and around.

The raised bed comes complete with all necessary nuts and bolts for assembly - a cross-head screwdriver is required, but wing nuts for the connecting bolts make the task easier. The top edge of the raised bed features a plastic coating to protect your hands when assembling, and a lightweight pair of gloves is included also.
